The Cardiological Network

The CARDIOLOGY NETWORK is the largest Italian research network dedicated to cardiovascular diseases. It was promoted by the Ministry of Health and established in 2017 to encourage collaboration among Scientific Institutes for Research, Hospitalization, and Healthcare (IRCCS). The initiative aims to create a collaborative and information-sharing network among IRCCSs that are either specialized in cardiovascular care or are significantly involved in this field, whether public or private.

The mission of the CARDIOLOGY NETWORK is to facilitate and promote scientific and technological research on cardiovascular diseases and their related risk factors, with the goal of improving diagnosis, treatment, and patient care.

The objectives pursued by the Cardiology Network include:

Promoting scientific and technological research in the field of cardiovascular diseases and their associated risk factors.
Facilitating the development of shared IT platforms for experimental and clinical research.
Promoting the optimization and harmonization of care.
Supporting training, including through the definition of new career pathways.

PUBLIC NOTICE – PURSUANT TO ART. 66 OF LEGISLATIVE DECREE 50 OF 2016

Notice for the verification of the absence of competition for the implementation of an IT platform for the collection of Clinical and Research information provided to the Cardiology Network.

ISMETT, through this notice published in the name and on behalf of the Cardiology Network, pursuant to Article 66 of Legislative Decree No. 50/2016 and subsequent amendments, intends to verify the actual existence of the condition of absence of competition for technical reasons with regard to the implementation of an IT platform for the collection of clinical and research information to be provided to the Cardiology Network. This initiative is to be financed through the research project “Integrated strategies for the study of the determinants of cardiovascular diseases and for the identification of their biomarkers,” which is included within the funding program “Fund for the financing of investments and infrastructural development of the Country (Law No. 232/2016, art. 1, paragraph 140),” with project CUP H48D19000270001.

The deadline for the notice is set for 12:00 pm on 21 January 2022.
