Founded in 2010 as the San Giuseppe University Eye Clinic, under the leadership of Professor Paolo Nucci, our center combines cutting-edge technology with a multidisciplinary approach to deliver high-quality care for a wide range of eye conditions.

    Ocular Diseases in Adults and Children

    We provide advanced diagnosis and treatment for a full spectrum of ocular diseases in both adults and children. Conditions we commonly treat include senile cataract, eyelid disorders, corneal diseases, glaucoma, retinal diseases, Vernal keratoconjunctivitis, anterior segment disorders, and tear film dysfunctions. In pediatric ophthalmology, our center is recognized across Europe as a referral hub for complex and rare conditions such as congenital cataract, congenital glaucoma, congenital ptosis, and hereditary retinal dystrophies.

      Vitreoretinal Surgery

      Led by experienced professionals, we manage vitreous and retinal diseases, including retinal dystrophies, retinal detachment, and diabetic retinopathy. Our care approach focuses on minimizing both the physical and emotional impact on our patients.

      Cornea and Ocular Surface Unit

      We manage a wide variety of corneal and ocular surface disorders, providing advanced treatments including corneal transplantation.

      Glaucoma Unit

      Equipped with the latest technology, we diagnose and treat all forms of glaucoma, including congenital and pediatric cases.

      Medical Retina Unit

      We offer advanced diagnostic and treatment options for macular diseases and retinal disorders, including intravitreal injections and retinal laser therapies.

      Diagnostic Examinations

      Our center performs comprehensive advanced diagnostics such as autofluorescence, fluorescein angiography, OCT, fundus photography, and microperimetry to ensure accurate diagnoses and targeted treatments.
