Scientific Director
Prof. Paola Cornelia Maria Muti leads the scientific activities of IRCCS MultiMedica,
with the goal of strengthening its role as a center of excellence at both national and international levels, and enhancing the quality of healthcare research from a translational perspective.
A physician and epidemiologist, Full Professor and Director of the Department of Biomedical, Surgical and Dental Sciences at the University of Milan, Prof. Muti previously served as Scientific Director of the Regina Elena National Cancer Institute in Rome and has held teaching positions at several prestigious international institutions, including the Harvard School of Public Health and McMaster University in Canada.
In addition to being an active member of various scientific and editorial committees, she is the author of over 300 publications in indexed and peer-reviewed journals, including JAMA, the British Medical Journal, and the American Journal of Epidemiology, among others.
