Criteria for acceptance of specimens
The criteria for acceptance of specimens, as well as the procedures for repeating sample collection when necessary, are outlined in the laboratory manual that governs the management of the Lab Testing Centers. These protocols follow international scientific guidelines to ensure accurate and reliable test results. They’re designed to standardize every step of the pre-analytical phase—so that samples are handled consistently and patients receive care under clearly defined conditions. All specimens are collected, stored, and, when necessary, recollected using standardized procedures that reduce variability and help prevent errors. Detailed guidelines are outlined in both the Lab Testing Center and the Laboratory manuals, and accessible to internal staff as well as external users.

Turnaround times
Test results are typically available within 1 to 2 days for the most common analyses. More complex, particularly those involing Pathological Anatomy, may require up to two weeks.
