Data Protection Officer

The Data Protection Officer performs the following tasks:

• Information and advisory role: informs and advises the Data Controller as well as employees and collaborators; if requested, provides opinions regarding the data protection impact assessment.
• Monitoring and compliance role: monitors compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, with other European or national data protection provisions, as well as with the Data Controller’s policies on personal data protection, including the assignment of responsibilities.
• Contact role: cooperates with the national Supervisory Authority and acts as a point of contact for data subjects.
