Gender Equality Plan
For years, MultiMedica has promoted equal opportunities and the inclusion of all individuals working within its organization.
Concrete Actions for Equality
Equal pay with male colleagues, a strong female presence in top management positions, opportunities for flexible work, and access to the same training resources. These are some of the concrete actions that distinguish MultiMedica in its approach to human resource management.
Female Presence in Various Functions
As in most hospital organizations, women at MultiMedica are part of the medical and nursing staff and are widely represented in administrative roles. However, what most distinguishes us is the strong female presence in top management positions.
Female Empowerment and Combating the ‘Glass Ceiling’
Commitment to Overcoming the Glass Ceiling
Another significant aspect of empowering women within our Group is the longstanding commitment that MultiMedica has dedicated to overcoming the “glass ceiling,” the unfortunately well-known invisible barrier of cultural obstacles that hinders women’s careers and opportunities.
Equal Opportunities for Professional Growth
In our organization, female employees have access to the same training resources as their male colleagues, thereby enabling them to pursue genuine and effective career development pathways. This cultural approach is demonstrated by the fact that, at MultiMedica, women hold the majority of senior positions and by the elimination of the gender pay gap: our female employees, for equivalent roles, have access to the same salary levels as men.
MultiMedica’s Key Figures
Statistics and Recognitions
All of this is reflected in the figures: out of a total of 2,315 employees at Gruppo MultiMedica (as of December 2024), 65% are women. This is further evidenced by the survey “Italy’s Best Employers for Women,” conducted by the German Institute for Quality and Finance in partnership with La Repubblica-Affari&Finanza, in which MultiMedica ranks prominently for the quality of female employment. Gender Equality Plan
The implementation of the Gender Equality Plan, which involved the full collaboration of various departments and offices within our Group, represents an additional step in the cultural and organizational growth that MultiMedica is committed to pursuing from a perspective of continuous improvement, in order to respond dynamically to the evolving needs of its workforce.
