Quality Certification

What it means to be certified

Certification consists of verification, by an independent and accredited third-party body (in our case, Bureau Veritas), of the conformity of the Quality Management System to the requirements established by the international standard UNI EN ISO 9001. MultiMedica’s certification supports its reorganization from a perspective of continuous improvement—namely, the rationalization and efficiency of processes (both administrative and healthcare), human resources, and facilities—to the benefit of patient safety and healthcare professionals. It thus initiates a process of renewed awareness at all levels.

What tangible benefits does undertaking a certification process provide?

Certification represents a significant moment of awareness for the Hospital Structure, as well as a valuable tool for Management to measure and evaluate predefined objectives. For staff, it provides planning and control tools (guidelines, procedures, instructions, indicators, etc.) at all levels, enabling compliance with legal requirements and recommendations from scientific associations for good clinical practice, while also capitalizing on the experience gained by professionals and enhancing individual expertise within an increasingly aware and efficient organization. For the patient, it constitutes a guarantee of safety, as well as clinical and management quality. Certification for MultiMedica represents the starting point for triggering processes of continuous improvement and patient safety

Which facilities within the Group are currently fully certified?
