Families caring for a loved one who is ill do their best to be by their side, but daily responsabilities do not always allow for consistent support. UGO steps in as a temporary extension of the family, helping manage daily activities, ensuring the continuity of care, and supporting adherence to medical appointments and treatments.

What does a UGO Operator do?

A UGO companion visits the individual at home to assist them in getting ready and accompanies them to the healthcare facility, either by driving the patient’s car or using their own vehicle.
At the hospital, the UGO companion stays with the patient throughout the entire time and finally accompanies them home once the visit or session is completed.
Our companions are carefully selected through a document verification process. Following an introductory interview, they receive dedicated training from the UGO Team and qualified external healthcare experience.

How does UGO work?

The UGO operator may drive the patient’s vehicle (in this case, a special comprehensive insurance policy is activated) or provide their own car.
During their stay at the healthcare facility, the patient is accompanied and assisted with administrative procedures, supported during consultations and therapies, and then escorted home once the visit is complete.
