13.11.26 – ECTOPIC LIPID AND CARDIO-METABOLIC DISEASE
On 13 November 2026, at 12.30pm, the seminar “Ectopic Lipid and Cardio-Metabolic Disease” will be held at PST- Polo Scientifico e Tecnologico MultiMedica – via G. Fantoli 15/16 Milano, featuring Dr. Kitt Falk Petersen, Director of the Yale DRC Translational Research Core at Yale School of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Section of Endocrinology.
Internationally recognized for her pioneering research in endocrinology, metabolism and cardiovascular health, Professor Petersen will present the latest insights from her scientific work on the metabolic mechanisms underlying cardiovascular disease, with a particular focus on the role of ectopic lipid accumulation in cardio-metabolic disorders.
The seminar will provide an opportunity to explore emerging scientific perspectives, discuss the implications of current research and foster scientific exchange and new opportunities for collaboration among researchers and healthcare professionals.
